Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Columbia, SC A speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school setting in Columbia, SC, for a contract covering the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing essential speech and language services to young students, supporting their communication development and academic success. Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student\'s needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students\' progress. Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress. Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development. Qualifications And Desired Experience
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working within school environments, preferably elementary level. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress. Background in pediatric speech therapy, with skills relevant to healthcare settings. Strong understanding of school-based speech-language pathology practices. Ability to manage caseloads effectively and deliver compassionate care to children. Location
