As a Radiology Technologist, you will use advanced X-Ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images, ensuring accurate techniques and patient comfort. This role offers hands-on experience, relationship building, and career growth within an innovative healthcare system. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts. Key responsibilities include: Performing radiology procedures such as routine exams, fluoroscopy, invasive exams, OR and ED procedures, and bone density scans. Operating and regulating equipment. Reviewing patient prep information, explaining procedures, and obtaining consent. Documenting clinical information like medical history and allergies. Providing a calm approach to ease patient anxiety. Transporting patients and communicating with nursing staff. Checking physician orders and documenting post-procedure. Minimum qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA). American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Certification. Florida licensure as a General Radiographer. Knowledge of federal and state regulations. Preferred qualifications: Two years of experience in an acute care imaging setting. Physical and mental demands include frequent walking, sitting, standing, working at a fast pace, and handling stress. The role requires minimal supervision and may involve hours exceeding eight per day. Confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information (PHI) are essential. Follow standard precautions with PPE as required. Pay range details are discussed during the application process.
