Our organization helps address pet overpopulation through spay/neuter surgeries, wellness visits, and community outreach. We are seeking a dedicated and rescue-minded veterinarian to join our team and help us make a lasting impact.
This role involves performing spay and neuter surgeries, dental procedures, and low-cost wellness and sick visits for the community. You will also participate in quarterly vaccine clinics held on Saturdays, working alongside a compassionate team dedicated to animal health and welfare.
Responsibilities
Perform spay and neuter surgeries, dental procedures, and low-cost wellness and sick visits for the community.
Participate in quarterly vaccine clinics held on Saturdays with the team.
Qualifications
A veterinarian with a genuine passion for rescue and animal welfare.
Skilled in surgical techniques with a deep understanding of animal behavior, ensuring procedures are performed with care and respect for the animal’s comfort.
An advocate for responsible pet ownership, able to educate pet owners on the benefits of spaying/neutering.
Valid veterinary license to practice within Maryland.
Current DEA license (or ability to obtain one).
