Overview
Licensed Mental Health Professional - CMG Piedmont Psych Center, Full-time, Days. The LMHP is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health and/or substance abuse services within a multidisciplinary team. This role involves working with individuals who are receiving behavioral health services in residential, outpatient, and inpatient mental health and/or substance abuse and dependence treatment settings to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans that address behavioral health needs. The LMHP will also provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and support for clients and their families, fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery and well-being. The expertise of the LMHP will contribute to creating a safe and therapeutic environment that fosters mental and emotional well-being. LMHPs may serve as a preceptor to student interns and staff, ensuring that therapeutic programming is effectively implemented. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients\' mental health and/or substance use disorders. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to enhance client coping strategies and resilience. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective interventions. Conduct crisis interventions as needed and ensure appropriate referrals to higher levels of care when required. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic care. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in mental health care. Uphold ethical standards and ensure confidentiality in all client interactions. Other Functions

Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Human Services: Counseling, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or another related field. Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent. For positions within Addiction Treatment Services, required qualification may include Licensed Substance Abuse Practitioners (LSAP). BLS certification within 30 days of hire Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Management) certification within thirty (30) days of being hired into this role. Required Experience
Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with direct experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment. Preferred Experience
Certification in a specialized area (e.g., trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy). Previous experience in residential and inpatient settings is a plus. Senioriry level
