Job Description
Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering hospital in York, Maine. As an MRI Tech, you’ll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered Philips MRI Systems experience Current state license (if applicable) BLS certification required 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills
Contract Details
Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Weekly pay range: $1,728 - $1,919 per week (taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements may apply)
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
