UW Health SwedishAmerican . Work Schedule: 10% FTE, PRN, Day/Evening/Night. You may be eligible for up to a $1000 sign-on bonus. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on operational needs. Job Description Perform adult diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures. Practice in a technologically advanced and dynamic interventional procedural area. Be part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team. Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular procedures. Opportunity to cross-train in Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program. Electrophysiology (EP) Tech Function independently as an expert technologist in EP, assisting EP physicians with complex procedures and overseeing technical operations. Be an expert in EP, capable of educating and training staff. Qualifications Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Technologist (CVIS) training program (Required) One year of Cath Lab, EP, or Interventional Radiology experience or participation in CVT apprenticeship may be considered in lieu of education. Graduate of a CVIS training program (Preferred) Work Experience 2 years of Cardiovascular Technologist experience in a Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab (Preferred) Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certification (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months (Required) RCIS certification (Preferred) UW Health is committed to social impact and belonging, and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
