Why Join Us Part Time (.45 to .89) - Exempt: No Location: Rev Hugh Cooper Admin Center Work hours: Evenings Benefits: PRN/PT employees (working less than 0.45 FTE) are eligible for benefits such as medical, gym memberships, and wellness programs. Ideal Candidate: Two years nursing supervisor experience; background in primary, emergency, or urgent care. Qualifications Associates degree in nursing with 5 years of nursing experience OR Bachelor's degree in nursing. RN License from New Mexico Board of Nursing required. Strong organizational and analytical skills, including interpreting medical records, conducting detailed research, and critical thinking. Responsibilities Receive, triage, verify, and process clinical triage and medical advice requests from members and their representatives. Use clinical protocols to assess advice, document discussions, and relay information. Collaborate with stakeholders and providers to determine appropriate care directions, using critical thinking to assess risks and call acuity. Legally document all calls and information discussed, referring pertinent details accordingly. Coordinate with behavioral health or crisis staff to assist callers. Report trends and potential issues to management. Communicate effectively with providers, medical directors, and other departments to provide appropriate advice. Adhere to protocols for call processing, documentation, transfer, and follow-up. Meet departmental and regulatory turnaround times while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
