OFC currently has 268 beds and is expanding with construction scheduled to be completed in June 2025, adding 84 beds for a total of 352 beds. Position title: Nurse Manager – Nursing department. About the Position
The Nursing department is hiring for a Nurse Manager who will supervise and manage staff, programs, and units in an inpatient behavioral health facility. This includes responsibility for broad management issues in planning, organizing and integrating various functions and directing assigned staff to meet the goals and objectives of the program. Open/Close dates: 5/28/2025 - until filled Full-time Hourly pay rate: $38.46 Shift differential when applicable Primary working hours: 10:45pm - 6:45am FLSA Status: Exempt Primary Work Location: Oklahoma Forensic Center, Vinita, OK / Nursing Vacancies: 1 Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Education and experience requirements: possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two years of supervisory; or a master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity. Special Requirements
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel and must have a valid driver’s license. Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants must submit to a physical examination and meet the physical requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
