About us:
Come grow with us! The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. OFC is expanding with construction scheduled to be completed in June 2025 adding an additional 84 beds. When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers.
About the Position :
Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Finance Department is seeking a Contracting & Acquisitions Agent who would be responsible for the acquisitions of goods and services, completing all related actions concerning competitive bidding or negotiation, evaluation of proposals, analyses of products, disapproval or termination of contracts, insuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements concerning contracting and purchasing and other duties as assigned.
Close dates: 7/24/2025-until filled Full-time Hourly payrate: Level III-$21.51; Level II- $19.95; Level I-$18.50 Primary Working Hours are: 8:00am-4:30pm FLSA Status: Non Exempt/Exempt Primary Work Location/Department: Oklahoma Forensic Center,

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Level III- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three (3) years of technical clerical work plus two (2) years of experience involving procurement, purchasing, contracting, or acquisition; or an equivalent combination of education and experience substitution is allowed for the three (3) years of technical clerical experience only Level II- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three (3) years of technical clerical work plus one (1) year of experience involving procurement, purchasing, contracting, or acquisition; or an equivalent combination of education and experience substitution is allowed for the three (3) years of technical clerical experience only Level I- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three (3) years technical clerical work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel
normally associated with this position and as such have a valid
driver’s license.
