Key Responsibilities
Develop data solutions aimed to enable precision marketing to HCPs (healthcare practitioners/professionals). Work with brand representatives, marketers, data scientists & omni-channel strategists to gather requirements and develop cloud-based solutions of integrated data sets and visualizations to help AbbVie more effectively engage with HCP targets. Work directly in Digital Brand Teams as a critical team member responsible for all data engineering and data science model operationalization. Qualifications
Education & Experience Must Have a Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Or Quantitative Life Sciences, Or Related Field And 5 Years Of Work Experience As a Data Engineer, Systems Engineer, Or Similar Role In a Commercial Biopharma Environment With Each Of The Following: Extracting and combining multiple internal and external data sets; Onboarding, consolidating, cleansing, and structuring data for efficient use in reports, analytical applications, and machine learning models; Pressure-testing data requirements to ensure accurate and meaningful data delivery; Performing data analysis and reconciliation on datasets of varying sizes and complexities; Compiling, presenting and explaining data to business stakeholders; and Utilizing data analysis programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, and Spark) Alternatively, would Accept Master’s In Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Or Quantitative Life Sciences, Or Related Field And 2 Years Of Work Experience As a Data Engineer, Systems Engineer, Or Similar Role In a Commercial Biopharma Environment With Each Of The Following: Extracting and combining multiple internal and external data sets; Onboarding, consolidating, cleansing, and structuring data for efficient use in reports, analytical applications, and machine learning models; Pressure-testing data requirements to ensure accurate and meaningful data delivery; Performing data analysis and reconciliation on datasets of varying sizes and complexities; Compiling, presenting and explaining data to business stakeholders; and Utilizing data analysis programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, and Spark) Experience may be gained concurrently.
