Process Engineer

Raytheon . This is an onsite position based in Goleta, CA, in support of Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS). The role focuses on processes and techniques for manufacturing Infrared Vacuum Dewars, material testing, and failure analysis within an ISO Class 5 clean room. The candidate will manage process development and improvement projects, review material in WIP, certify operators, and perform hands-on processing testing and failure analysis in collaboration with Technicians, Product Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Equipment Engineers. Responsibilities
Work in a laboratory cleanroom environment using chemicals, metrology, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) controls. Handle chemical safety data, follow safety protocols, and advise on safety measures including the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Develop and deliver presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders. Work with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE/ANOVA). Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in Process, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Precision Alignment, Wire Bond, Vacuum Life, Leak Check, Plating, Photolithography, and Metrology. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings or schematics. Good mechanical aptitude and chemical handling ability. Experience with Infrared Detector Technology and Equipment and controls systems. Experience with SPC and DOE/ANOVA. Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and use engineering and manufacturing software. What We Offer
