Electrical Design Engineer , where you’ll work on the design and development of robust electrical systems for cutting-edge drone systems, ground stations, and test fixtures. Why You’ll Want This Job Influence major advancements in tether-powered drone/UAS/autonomous solutions Contribute to essential government and commercial projects Enjoy working in a supportive, team-focused environment in sunny Greater Orlando, Florida Benefit from medical, dental, and vision with substantial company-paid premiums Enrich your life with free in-house wellness events, health screenings, catered meals, and fun teambuilding activities What You’ll Be Doing Contributing to full PCB design of tethered drone systems, including all phases of PCB design from concept to layout to test, cable harnesses, production manufacturing documentation, and acceptance test procedures Conducting electronics failure analysis and implementing mitigation strategies Utilizing ECAD and simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice) for design and development tasks Collaborating with mechanical engineering team for electronics packaging with 3D modeling/CAD Working with technicians to provide electronic assembly and test assistance Why You’ll Be Successful Full PCB design experience and electronics packaging expertise BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering (or comparable) Experience with drones/UAS, RC, or robotics systems a bonus Self-starter with effective problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Adaptability in a high-tempo and rapidly shifting environment Experience with RF Systems and MIL-STD-461 a big plus Position is an onsite position working out of our beautiful Sanford, FL, offices.
