Senior Electrical Engineer – Pharmacy Automation Systems
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of advanced pharmacy automation systems. This role will focus on sustaining engineering efforts, ensuring product reliability, cost‑effective sourcing, and seamless integration with Product Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design and development of robotic systems from concept through production, including prototyping, testing, validation, and certification.
Manage and support multiple R&D initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and high‑quality deliverables.
Enhance the performance and reliability of existing and future products through hands‑on electrical engineering expertise.
Translate complex system‑level requirements into robust electrical architectures and specifications.
Support legacy products by developing diagnostic tools, test setups, and firmware updates.
Design and refine systems involving robotics, motion control, power electronics, and embedded control.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all electrical components and systems.
Provide technical support for regulatory compliance and certification processes across multiple product lines.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering roles with a focus on product development and support
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools for schematic capture and board layout
Experience with LabView and/or LabWindows CVI for test automation
Strong background in motion control, AC power electronics, servo systems, and embedded systems
Expertise in bare‑metal C programming, including memory management and interrupt handling (NXP and STMicro preferred)
Familiarity with C# development in Visual Studio (preferred)
Proven experience with system‑level electrical architecture
Knowledge of regulatory standards including UL‑61010, UL‑60601, CE, TuV, and EMI/EMC compliance
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration
Demonstrated leadership in guiding engineering teams and managing project timelines
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Primarily office‑based with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions
Frequent use of hands for typing, grasping, and other repetitive tasks
Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer screen
Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs frequently and up to 30 lbs occasionally
