Sourcing Senior Claims Resolution Specialist Bodily Injury
This role is a senior claims resolution specialist that manages attorney represented and litigated auto and homeowner’s bodily injury claims at Liberty Mutual. The position requires a minimum of two days per month onsite at the
Lake Mary, FL or Suwanee, GA
Liberty Mutual office and candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of these locations.
Base pay range
$66,000.00/yr – $106,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Investigate, evaluate coverage and liability, and settle claims within prescribed authority levels.
Identify potential suspicious claims, refer to SIU, and pursue third‑party subrogation opportunities.
Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report status to home office and local management.
Coordinate with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on proper course of action.
Respond to written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
Ensure adequacy of reserves and recommend reserve increases on cases beyond authority.
Secure financial processing of claims and protect information contained in claim files.
Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required.
Manage the practices and billing activities of outside and in‑house counsel.
Travel 10% for trials, mediations, and in‑person events.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty experience.
3+ years of Litigation experience.
Qualifications
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and investigative skills.
Customer service experience preferred.
Strong competency in legal liability, general insurance policy coverage and State Tort Law.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of directly related experience.
Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.
