role at Talantage HR and Talent Solutions. Talantage is currently seeking a PT Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our client's state correctional facility. The LPN (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Shift
Available shift: part time, nights, 12am - 8:30am Saturdays. Responsibilities
Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff, to respond to physical and behavioral health needs. Qualifications
Must hold valid LPN license in the State of Maryland Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable Minimum of one-year work experience as an LPN preferred in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long term care environment Experience in a correctional environment preferred Employment type
