Summary
We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Blood Draw Clinic at Moffitt Spiros Land O' Lakes, FL.
Opening late January 2026, Moffitt Cancer Center at Spiros (MAS) will be a 91,000 square-foot full-service outpatient facility and 26,000 square-foot Proton Therapy Center designed and equipped to provide the same level of cancer care we provide at our main hospital.

Training location: Wesley Chapel Campus - Moffitt until the facility opens in January 2026.
Accurate lab work and bloodwork are critical to our work. Our on-site state-of-the-art lab, equipped with the latest diagnostic technologies, assesses tissue and fluid samples for various analyses. Our pathology team includes board-certified surgical pathologists, molecular pathologists, hematopathologists, and laboratory medicine specialists experienced with all forms of cancer, from common gynecological and gastrointestinal types to rare malignancies. They ensure rapid turnaround times and accurate results.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced blood draw clinic or similar setting.
Credentials and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing
Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered
Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Florida, or valid multi-state privileges to practice in Florida (must declare Florida as primary residence within 30 days if licensed in another eNLC compact state)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities:
Use the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families, integrating patient and family-centered care and quality caring factors
Identify, document, and provide patient education based on learning needs
Participate in evidence-based improvement activities
Engage in professional development aligned with standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations
