Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Responsibilities (Implied) The MRI department performs a variety of exams and may require cross-location coverage. The role includes day shift duties with exposure to both ambulatory and inpatient studies depending on schedule.

Requirements

12 months of MRI experience required, including some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required (any number of months).

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred (any number of months).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations.

Travel only; local candidates are not allowed. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Pre-Employment & Onboarding Pre-employment modules may be required. Upload certifications or health documents to expedite onboarding. RTO must be listed at time of submission. Lab orders may be required within 72 hours of signing a contract; candidates must be responsive and willing to complete health orders ASAP after signing.

Additional Details

All positions at Providence Health & Services require completion of requested lab items within 72 hours of signing a contract (no exceptions).

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in the specified specialty within the past 3 years.

Cannot have any license hits/suspensions or background hits from any point in the past.

Shift & Scheduling: Wed-Fri; weekends not required; on-call not required (agency staff can take call, but not required).

Preferred: Teaching Hospital Experience.

Required: Community Hospital Experience; Level II Hospital setting supporting Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, ER/Trauma; Epic Experience Required.

Special Requests: Block scheduling not preferred; case-by-case consideration during contract depending on core staff.

Unit Details: MRI department handles various exams; day shift may include Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI; more ambulatory patients during the day and more inpatient assistance at night.

Types of Patients: Adults, Geriatrics; Preferred: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents.

Parking Cost: Facility Paid.

Required Credentials: Background check or Nursys hits noted at submission; BG/Nursys hits allowed with client written approval.

Return Staff Policy: 3-month rule for returning as traveler.
