Through the use of accepted techniques and practices provides high quality Computerized Tomography and Radiographic studies. Operate and care for equipment safely to ensure proper exposures of patients to radiation for CT and Diagnostic Imaging procedures. Follow established guidelines for IV, oral, and rectal contrast administration to ensure patient safety. Communicate effectively with ancillary areas and internal staff. Evaluate, coordinate, and execute responsibilities under pressure; resolve customer problems independently and involve supervisors as necessary. Provide professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics while following hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Assist in mentoring and training students involved in associated teaching programs. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Job Requirements
1 year experience as a technologist in a full service Radiology/CT Department Certification in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology issued by State of California (CRT) California Fluoroscopy permit Certification in Radiological Technology issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Current BLS certification Venipuncture/IV contrast Administration Certificate required Where You'll Work
Founded in 1926, Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center is a 334-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital.
