Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Supplemental Health Care is hiring CT Technologists for contract opportunities at a partnering Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols CT Tech Contract Details: $1,998 - $2,206 per week* 12-week contract with possibility to extend NOC shifts available 36 hrs/wk Duties will include, but are not limited to: Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients Explaining scanning procedures to patients Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality Supplemental Health Care offers a range of benefits, including full medical, dental, vision, life, and even pet insurance, round the clock support, and a 401k Retirement Savings Program.
