Veterinarian (DVM) – Bear Creek Animal Hospital Location: 1215 W Pearce Blvd, Wentzville, Missouri 63385 Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 base + 20% ProSal, $50,000 sign-on bonus, profit sharing & minority ownership opportunity; comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities including ownership potential. Notable leadership: Dr. Christen Fielding, General Practitioner with extensive GP, urgent care and surgery experience. We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a modern, well-equipped hospital and grow within a supportive, collaborative team. Ownership opportunities may be available for the right candidate. About the community: Located less than an hour west of St. Louis, Wentzville offers a growing community with small-town charm and access to urban amenities nearby.
What We’re Looking For
DVM with experience in general practice Passion for dentistry, preventative care, and client communication Positive, team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples, interpret results Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed Provide counsel around pet end-of-life care Maintain patients’ medical records Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited institution Appropriate state licensure Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; with assistance for heavier lifts
