2 Position Overview: Primary Talent Partners is seeking two experienced Engineers with 2+ years experience in Transmission Line engineering. This position involves designing, engineering, and providing technical expertise for transmission lines, mainly supporting the Carolinas West region. Candidates should be familiar with Transmission Line engineering theories and principles, capable of working independently on complex projects, and proficient in engineering concepts, problem-solving, and decision-making. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) 8 years of relevant engineering experience Minimum 2 years of hands-on transmission line engineering experience Experience in the utility industry Proficiency in transmission line design theories and software (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, MFAD) Strong understanding of applicable design codes and standards Ability to research, evaluate, and recommend engineering solutions Excellent communication skills Knowledge of project management principles Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise in transmission line design, analysis, and calculations adhering to standards and codes Support routing, siting, conceptual and detailed design, including structures and electrical components Assist with construction support and oversight Identify and resolve complex engineering problems independently Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and documentation Conduct engineering studies and manage projects with minimal supervision Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively Why Apply?
