Structural Engineer
to support our
Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO)
operations within the aviation industry. This position plays a critical role in evaluating and ensuring the structural integrity of aircraft, developing repair solutions, and providing hands-on engineering support during maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace structures, regulatory compliance, and hands-on experience supporting maintenance operations. Duties & Responsibilities
Assess and analyze structural damage or discrepancies on aircraft during inspections and heavy maintenance checks. Develop engineering repair instructions and engineering orders (EOs) compliant with FAA/EASA regulations and OEM structural repair manuals (SRMs). Design and substantiate structural repairs and modifications, including static strength and fatigue/damage tolerance evaluations. Provide on-site support during maintenance events and coordinate real-time technical guidance for structural repairs. Liaise with OEMs and regulatory authorities to obtain approvals for major repairs or deviations from standard procedures. Prepare and review technical documentation including reports, drawings, and modification packages. Maintain accurate records of all engineering assessments, repair dispositions, and compliance documentation. Seniority level
