Lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions; lead and participate in teams supporting the unit’s CORE goals Review and approve First Article inspections, Solumina Work Instruction updates, and Process Tryouts; perform product, process and work instruction audits Interface with Engineering, Operations, and Materials groups to resolve technical/quality issues Review and implement internal and regulatory requirement changes; provide technical guidance and training to OEM Parts Inspectors Assist with Escape investigations within Business Units Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 5+ years' experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, program/project management, supply chain/logistics or closely related environment OR a Masters' Degree and minimum 3+ years' experience in the same fields Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Experience managing multiple competing priorities with ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean U.S. citizenship is required Qualifications We Prefer
Engineering degree (aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, quality) Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems and CORE tools Experience with Solumina and SAP software Root cause determination skills (Red-X, Fault Tree) Experience in aerospace machining, forgings, castings, or composites Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements Experience establishing and maintaining a quality management system, ideally AS9100 Learn More and Apply
This role is Onsite: Employees in Onsite roles work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers involved in engine development. Salary range:
82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. This is a good faith estimate of compensation and may vary by experience, location, and other factors. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, FSA, etc.). Benefits depend on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Short-term and long-term incentive programs may apply depending on the position and eligibility. This is a U.S.-based role.
