Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is a joint venture of Freudenberg and NOK Corp., headquartered in Plymouth, MI, with operations across the Americas. We are a leading producer of advanced sealing technologies for automotive and general industries. This role is for a Process Engineer based in Manchester, NH, full-time. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs, with a strong focus on integrating automation technologies such as robotics and co-bots (collaborative robots). Conduct process simulations and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, leveraging advanced analytics and Six Sigma tools to predict and mitigate potential issues. Collaborate closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams, coordinating on equipment repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring minimal downtime. Work with equipment repairs and provide support and expertise to maintenance teams. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, ensuring they reflect latest best practices and technology advancements. Ensure safety and environmental compliance, integrating safety protocols into automated systems and co-bot operations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to lean manufacturing projects and driving innovation through new technologies and methodologies. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills; customer-centric approach. Innovative mindset with ability to take informed risks to develop new or improved solutions.
