Sales Engineer
position, located in Texas. This role involves strengthening the specification position of the entire ASC portfolio at the engineer and owner level within a specified territory. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategic plans, document activities in the CRM system, and collaborate with industry associations such as ASPE, ASHRAE, and SFPE to stay informed of industry trends and grow the ASC brand. Key responsibilities include working with contractors to ensure ASC products are approved in project specifications, collaborating with the Construction Technology team as a Subject Matter Expert in engineering software, and maintaining detailed activity records in CRM. The role also involves strategic planning, product and market expertise, industry engagement, contractor collaboration, and administrative duties. Qualifications include a college degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), CSI Certification (preferred), experience in technical specifications and sales, strong communication skills, willingness to travel, and proximity to a major metropolitan area with airport access. The position reports to the Business Development Director and works with Regional Sales Managers and the Mechanical Sales Team.
