Plumbing Design Engineer
Actalent, a leading consulting engineering firm based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a skilled Plumbing Design Engineer to join our growing team. We are committed to sustainable design and work on a variety of projects including offices, retail, condominiums, industrial and multifamily residential buildings.
Responsibilities
Develop schematic designs through construction administration for diverse building types.
Perform engineering assignments with clear, specified objectives.
Ensure all designs and specifications incorporate sustainable practices.
Collaborate with project managers to review work and apply professional judgment.
Design plumbing, fire alarm, and power distribution systems.
Essential Skills
3–5+ years of plumbing design experience.
Proficiency in Revit and strong AutoCAD skills.
Excellent report‑writing ability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in HVAC and fire protection design.
Knowledge of Revit MEP.
Work Environment This is a fully in‑office, full‑time position requiring attendance at our Charlotte, NC office.
Job Type & Location Permanent – Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits Salary range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year.
Full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid vacation and holidays.
Workplace Type Fully onsite.
