Plumbing Design Engineer
We are a growing Consulting Engineering firm located in Charlotte, NC, fully committed to sustainable design. We are currently seeking a talented Plumbing Design Engineer with consulting engineering experience. This role involves responsibilities from schematic design through construction administration for offices, retail, condominiums, industrial, and multifamily residential projects. The candidate will perform engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives, focusing on conventional types of plans and specifications. Work will be reviewed by Project Managers to ensure the application of sound professional judgment. Responsibilities
Develop schematic designs through to construction administration for various projects such as offices, retail, condominiums, industrial, and multifamily residential buildings. Perform engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives. Ensure all designs and specifications are developed with sustainable practices in mind. Collaborate with project managers to review work for professional judgment. Design plumbing systems, fire alarm systems, and power distribution systems. Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in plumbing design. Proficiency in Revit and strong AutoCAD skills including ACAD. Excellent report writing ability. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in HVAC and fire protection design. Knowledge of Revit MEP. Pay And Benefits
Pay range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year. Benefits: health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) plan; paid vacation, holidays, and overtime. Work Environment
This is a fully in-office position, providing a collaborative work environment. The role requires full-time attendance at our office in Charlotte, NC. Location
