Position Summary The Quality Control Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of design, construction, and client satisfaction within Premier’s architecture and interior design practice. This position focuses on leading QA/QC processes for renovation, adaptive reuse, and ground‑up projects, particularly in the hospitality and multifamily sectors, reinforcing Premier’s reputation for quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive QC/QA strategies tailored to renovation, adaptive reuse, and new construction projects, aligning initiatives with firm‑wide goals and client priorities.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine QA/QC processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency, introducing best practices to drive innovation and improved project outcomes.

Standards Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with building codes, brand standards, accessibility regulations, and client specifications. Conduct reviews and assessments to verify adherence to quality benchmarks.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of QA/QC project reviews, findings, and corrective actions. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal leadership and clients.

Team Training & Development: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to project teams on QA/QC standards and best practices. Support quarterly reviews by assisting Directors in evaluating team adherence to QA/QC benchmarks and fostering a firm‑wide culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Professional licensure or certification in architecture, engineering, or construction management preferred.

12+ years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, with proven expertise in hospitality and multifamily projects.

Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards (ADA/FHA), fire/life safety, and hotel brand requirements.

Demonstrated ability to review construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals with precision.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment with a strong commitment to culture.
