Overview
Mead & Hunt is looking for a Water Resources Engineer to serve in a technical role on combined sewer system and wastewater collection system projects for the Midwest Civil/Hydrodynamics Department. This is a full-time position with a background in collection system design and/or modeling. Responsibilities
Assisting with wastewater and stormwater collection system evaluation, planning, and design projects to solve municipal collection system problems related to combined and sanitary sewer overflows, flooding, collection system aging, and water quality. Occasional travel will be required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or university. At least two (2) years of relevant work experience, including collection system analysis or design experience. Ideal Candidate Will Have
Combined sewer system, CSO reduction, wastewater conveyance or stormwater conveyance experience. Proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience using software such as PCSWMM, EPASWMM, ICM InfoWorks, or similar is preferred. Strong organizational skills. Ability to think critically and thoroughly.
