Promote and sell Cavotec Industry portfolio of products, services and engineering capabilities (for customization) to Mining OEMs. Main focus on cable reels (motorized and spring), radio remote controls and connectors. Develop regional Americas OEM accounts in the mining sector Collect market and account intelligence. Achieve sales targets in the assigned area following the Regional Sales Director and Global Product Managers guidelines. Identify new business opportunities Maximize cross-selling opportunities within existing key accounts Achieve business goals as per Regional Sales Director & Global Product Managers guidelines Meet assigned Sales Volume (Order Intake), Profitability (Contribution Margin) and strategic objectives. Manage and develop strong and long-lasting relationships with existing and new customers to facilitate business delivery Provide technical and commercial support to existing customers Read and analyse technical and commercial tender documentation Prepare technical and commercial offer documentation Support the fulfilment team in project managing high value contracts Articulate technology, product features, and benefits to both business and technical users Identify all the relevant technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process Understand and articulate to customers/prospects the competitive advantages/differentiation feature of Cavotec technology vs competitors. Develop relationships with our manufacturing organization and engineering team to capture and translate voice of customer feedback and market trends, so we can design the most optimum solutions for our customers. Negotiate with customers regarding price, schedule, terms and conditions and other commercial issues. Create operating agreements for key accounts including Stocking agreements, Production agreements and Engineering Support. Regularly update the CRM (Salesforce) with leads, customer information / insights, funnel, and opportunity information. Utilize the CRM system to provide insight on successful sales techniques, market intelligence, lead generation and target markets/customers. Work with Global and Regional Product leaders to recommend new product development ideas/equipment demonstration concepts for the Mining industry. Qualifications
At least 5 years of professional experience in commercial roles in the mining and tunneling industry Proven track record in selling technical products – such as motorized or spring cable reels, connectors, radio remote controls, or other industrial controls – to Mining OEMs, end-users, or service providers is a strong advantage. Diploma or University Degree in Electrical, Automation or Mechanical Engineering; Ability to build trusting and credible relationships with customers by personally interacting with them face-to-face Ability to work independently with great responsibility Experience traveling domestically; internationally a plus Hunter mentality, comfortable with long sales cycles; strong sales process management skills for customized products and equipment. Must relate comfortably and work with people across all organizational levels, functions, and cultures including sales, service, engineering, purchasing, management and C level executives. Must possess strong presentation skills. Develop presentation material and present to potential clients for effective communication of technical concepts and overall value message. Fluent in English (reading, written and spoken); Spanish or Portuguese would be a plus. Authorized to work in the United States Mobility
Domestic USA travel is required (at least 50%). Passport holder is essential Territory: Americas with strong focus in the United States and Canada. The Americas territory includes North, Central and South America. Preferred locations
