Senior Construction Project Coordinator – Phoenix, AZ

The role focuses on supporting large commercial construction projects through coordination, delegation, and communication between project coordinators and management. Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Delegation: Assess workload, delegate projects, and mentor project coordinators. Project Management Support: Assist in planning, execution, and closing of projects; monitor timelines and resources. Site Visits & Field Coordination: Resolve on‑site issues, coordinate with site managers, and ensure adherence to project timelines. Communication & Documentation: Act as primary communication link; oversee preparation and distribution of project documentation. Workload & Resource Management: Evaluate capacity, adjust assignments, and coordinate resource allocation. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company standards, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers; represent the team in meetings. Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or related field is preferred. Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in project coordination, preferably within the construction industry. Skills & Abilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and other project management software. Strong leadership, delegation, and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of accountability and ownership. Experience in conducting site visits and addressing on‑site challenges is preferred.
