Building Commissioning Engineer (M.E.P. Systems) - Hybrid. Salary $105K to $130K (Total Comp $115K to $140K). We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for commissioning a variety of project types and sizes, from functional testing to design review. This person will lead the projects, interfacing with clients, providing technical excellence, and managing the project team and schedule to achieve a successful project outcome. Responsibilities
Lead projects and interface with clients to provide technical excellence and ensure successful outcomes. Manage project team and schedule for commissioning activities across multiple project types and sizes. Coordinate with design and construction teams to support commissioning, testing, and documentation. Prepare and deliver commissioning plans, pre-functional testing, functional performance testing, project closeout, and final reports. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (Mechanical/Electrical Preferred), or equivalent 4-6+ years of Mechanical Commissioning experience; background in MEP commissioning, design and construction administration Ability to execute Building Commissioning & Retro-Commissioning tasks (commissioning plan creation, design reviews, job progress reports, pre-functional testing, functional performance testing, project close out, final report creation) MEP Systems Knowledge: HVAC, Building Automation & Controls, Plumbing, Fire Alarm/Life Safety, Lighting & Lighting Controls, Emergency Power, Low Voltage, Renewable Energy Systems Commissioning Certification Preferred but not required (CBCP, BCxP, CxA, etc.) EIT or PE is a plus Experience developing and executing commissioning and retro-commissioning plans Experience working with a team of professionals Ability and willingness to travel (more than 50%) Computer hardware/software/network expertise as appropriate Benefits
