Self-motivated, well-versed in Data Center projects touching large building MEP systems design, commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy modeling/analysis and construction for complex buildings. Perform assessment, optimization and/or commissioning activities for utility plants. Conduct construction observations, review contract documents, develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems. Execute retro-commissioning engineering/energy studies and contribute to design and energy projects for national industrial, institutional, and commercial clients. Assist in managing small to large Data Center projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred. At least 4 years of specific Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical). Experience with Project Management — scheduling, coordination with staff & contractors, verifying field quality, accountability, and composure under pressure. Technical mechanical expertise. On-site availability ~60% to 70%. Experience in managing staff and in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems. Experience managing design/energy services commissioning project resources to pre-determined scope, fee, and schedule. Knowledge of building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE, LEED. Effective leadership and written/verbal communication skills. Preferred, Not Required
PE, CBCP, BCxP, CEM, CCP, CxA are a plus Legal/Company Notes
