Quality Control Manager
to lead quality operations at a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing facility serving global markets in packaging and precision‑engineered components. This is a key leadership role for someone who’s passionate about improving processes, mentoring a technical team, and ensuring products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance. What You’ll Do
Lead and develop a dedicated Quality Assurance team of engineers and technicians. Oversee the
Quality Management System (QMS)
— ensuring all operations comply with ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. Partner cross‑functionally with
Engineering and Manufacturing
to enhance process reliability, optimize product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Act as the
primary quality liaison
for customers: managing audits, addressing complaints, presenting quality metrics, and ensuring total customer satisfaction. Drive data‑based problem solving using
root cause analysis, SPC, FMEA, and Six Sigma
methodologies. Lead efforts to ensure
supplier quality compliance , participating in supplier audits and corrective actions. Manage internal audits, documentation, and calibration programs to maintain ISO registration. Support new product launches, ensuring all quality standards are met from concept through production. Develop and manage departmental budgets, KPIs, and performance targets. Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the site. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience
leading quality programs in a manufacturing environment (plastics, molding, or assembly experience a plus). Strong background in
statistical analysis , metrology, and data‑driven decision making. Proven ability to implement and maintain
ISO‑certified quality systems . Expertise in
FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma
methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality data systems. Professional certifications such as
CQE
or
CQM
