Part Time, 48 hours biweekly Night shift Benefits Eligibility This position qualifies for TriHealth comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Job Overview This position is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of test results, and reporting laboratory findings to the doctors, pathologists, or other physicians. This position may work in any of the major areas of the laboratory: Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry and Fibrinolysis. Minimum Job Requirements
Associate's degree in clinical laboratory science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related field Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification by American Clinical Pathology (ASCP) 1 year of clinical experience Job Responsibilities Performs technical laboratory analysis in the areas of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology (blood bank and transfusion medicine). Ensures the distribution of associated test information and results in a manner consistent with department standards, regulatory standards, and turnaround time criteria. Working Conditions Climbing - Rarely, Hearing: Conversation - Frequently, Hearing: Other Sounds - Frequently, Kneeling - Rarely, Lifting 50+ Lbs. - Rarely, Lifting
