: Full Time Responsibilities
Schedule includes a rotation of responsibilities in clinic, operating room, inpatient rounding, and PA call coverage. PA team consists of seven (7) providers. Call includes coverage of group call as needed, which may include nights and weekend shifts. The APP will manage orthopedic trauma patients in collaboration with the orthopedic trauma surgeon(s) and will work in the operating room and outpatient clinic settings. The APP will evaluate new trauma patients in the Emergency Room, provide direction to hospital personnel regarding patient management issues, and manage inpatient orthopedic fracture patients, in accordance with approved protocols and procedures. The qualified PA-C will demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The role requires past surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital-based setting. Organization

Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA. Qualifications
The APP will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Candidates must hold a valid controlled substance registration with both the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA and should have past surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital-based setting.
