is seeking a dynamic
Per Diem Registered Nurse . If you are passionate about working in an engaging environment with a team dedicated to patient healing and health, we want to hear from you! Our Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and families.
This position requires night and weekend shifts.

This position is located at UHS facility, Michael's House, in Palm Springs, California.

Qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete health assessments of new clients immediately upon admission according to level of care procedures
Coordinate care with consulting medical providers and document all referrals
Monitor medication storage, distribution, control, preparation, and dispensing in collaboration with Pharmacy and Medical Staff
Prepare the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
Provide patient education regarding medications
Education/Experience
Education: College degree; Bachelor’s preferred
Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a medical facility, preferably in alcohol and drug treatment or mental health
Proficiency in computer software applications such as MS Word, Excel, EMR, TIER or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite
