Our Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and families.
This position requires night and weekend shifts. Are you passionate about working with patients with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependence? Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete health assessments of new clients immediately upon admission according to level of care procedures Communicate with consulting medical providers to coordinate care and document all referrals Monitor storage, distribution, control, preparation, and dispensing of medication in collaboration with Pharmacy Contractor and Medical Staff Prepare the Medication Administration Record (MAR) Provide patient education regarding medications Education/Experience
Education: College degree, Bachelors preferred Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) Experience: Minimum of 5 years working within a medical facility, preferably in alcohol and drug treatment or mental health Proficiency in computer software applications such as MS Word, Excel, EMR, TIER or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite About Universal Health Services
