Overview
THERAPY 2000 is a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services. The position is for Pediatric Physical Therapist and Pediatric Occupational Therapist working with families in San Antonio, Texas (Central Texas division). Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive Physical or Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders based on clinical judgment. Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers. Collaborate and coordinate care with other providers and disciplines as a vital member of the patient’s medical team. Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency. Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other required paperwork. Maintain understanding of agency expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care. Comply with agency policies and procedures and adhere to applicable laws and ethical guidelines for home-health pediatric therapy. Qualifications
A current/active license to practice Physical or Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas. Innovative spirit with a demonstrated history of reliability. Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as needed based on business needs. Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser). Preferred/Bonus
3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Experience in a home-health setting Specialty Certifications (example: PCS) Bilingual (English/Spanish) Perks
