Overview
Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Cypress/Bridgeland/Elyson. This full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunity serves families in the Cypress/Bridgeland/Elyson area as part of THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services in the North Houston Division. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy. Use clinical judgment to develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders. Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers. Act as a vital member of the patients’ medical neighborhood, coordinating care between providers and disciplines. Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency. Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork as needed. Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality patient care. Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines, and federal, state, and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy. What You’ll Need A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas. An innovative spirit with a history of reliability. Flexibility to shift resources and priorities based on business needs. Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).
