Provides high quality, evidence-based care to enhance patient safety, reduce adverse events, impact and improve patient satisfaction, support and promote optimal health status, and manage costs within and among continually expanding, diverse and complex populations. The ambulatory care fertility registered nurse is accountable for nursing care in accordance with applicable federal requirements, state laws and nurse practice acts, regulatory standards, professional standards of ambulatory care nursing, organizational policies, and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. Licenses and Certifications: RN Licensure by the Texas Board of Nursing Upon Hire CPR certification Upon Hire or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Upon Hire Preferred Experience: 1 year of clinical nursing experience Job Duties

Deliver nursing interventions using critical reasoning and clinical judgment to assess, implement, and record patient responses using the nursing process. Provide care via in-person office visits and telehealth (telephone or MyChart), including assessment, triage, nursing consultations, and follow-up. Focus on patient safety and quality of care by identifying patient needs, performing procedures, educating patients, advocating, coordinating services, and documenting outcomes. Support patients and families to manage health care, respecting culture, values, and goals. Facilitate continuity of care through multidisciplinary collaboration and appropriate resource coordination across the care continuum. Provide leadership and supervision to licensed vocational nurses and other staff; delegate tasks as needed. Participate in the design and evaluation of ambulatory nursing services and policy/procedure changes based on nursing expertise. Attend and participate in clinical meetings; provide care during all aspects of care including visits, retrievals, transfers, and procedures. Educate patients on REI treatment protocols, medications, and infertility procedures; document responses in the medical record. Performs other duties as assigned. Security and EEO Statement
