Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty. Provides operational management of daily patient care services. Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care. Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance. Designs, executes, and delivers an effective system of internal controls applicable and in compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. Facilitates teamwork through planned group processes, such as workshops, seminars, and staff meetings. Supervises nursing staff and/or other non-licensed medical or office support personnel. May provide direct patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Experience: 5 years of general nursing experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience. Licenses/Certifications: RN licensure as Registered Nurse in Texas; Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire. Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSN). Experience: Oncology experience preferred (1 year or more). Benefits
