Superintendent – responsible for managing and ensuring efficient operation of Blending Department, Production Department, Circular Economy Activities, and Production Scheduling. The top priority is the health and safety of direct and indirect reports. The incumbent will determine and implement the most cost-effective means of producing product while meeting customer expectations through quality and on-time delivery without compromising safety policies and procedures. The role champions a safe working environment, engages with employees in a respectful and supportive manner to drive commitment and productivity, and promotes workforce diversity. The candidate must correct or report violations through appropriate channels. This position may be assigned additional diverse duties and activities. Qualifications
Education – Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemical Engineering Manufacturing Leadership/Supervision experience required (5 years required) Knowledge of Six Sigma Black Belt, SPC, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, OSHA standards Administer company policies and 5S standards Ability to develop team of supervisors, provide feedback, coaching and guidance Promote and manage continuous improvement projects Engineering and maintenance knowledge of equipment and processes to ensure efficiencies within operation Engaging team member of the plant leadership team About Us
