Beltway Companies is seeking a full-time Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. Pay range is $20 - $35 per hour, based on experience. Up to a $8,000 signing bonus. Responsibilities
Use advanced diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs as identified during inspections Complete DVIR write-ups (vehicle inspections) and address emergency breakdowns on-site Make repairs to medium and heavy-duty trucks efficiently while maintaining high standards Collaborate with the service desk to discuss vehicle issues and repair needs Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery replacements, and lubrication Test-drive vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality Stay current on warranty policies, vendor guidelines, and ensure accurate completion of work orders Requirements
At least 1 year of experience with mobile diesel mechanics and diagnostics, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks Must have your own tools A valid driver’s license Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles Working knowledge of computers and maintenance applications Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent attention to detail Ability to occasionally work Saturday hours as needed Benefits
