Mobile Warehouse Team Leader - South East - £25,701
Overview
Retail & Asset Solutions are looking for a warehouse team captain to join our supply chain team on a full-time permanent basis. As a warehouse team captain, you will be responsible for achieving daily auditing targets by checking the accuracy of pallets and cages of stock, before they leave the warehouse, to ensure they meet the delivery requests and no errors have been made.
Responsibilities
This is a full-time permanent position, where you will be responsible for driving around the South East to complete audits on deliveries.
Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers\' paperwork and check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
Deliveries checks will require ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator.
Able to actively respond to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.
Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Ensure your own and the team\'s KPI\'s are met.
Perform and document weekly supervision with each team member.
Monitor audit data to provide performance feedback to each team member regarding output and error rates.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Work may require prolonged standing; employees may need to kneel, bend and squat to access stock.
Full Driving License and access to your own transport.
Requirements
Full Driving License and own transport (essential).
Experience in stock auditing, warehouse operations or similar role is preferred.
Proactive communication and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Aged 18 years or over.

Location: Kent & Essex region
Salary: £25,701 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, shifts up to 8 hours, daily 30-minute unpaid break
