JPS Tech Solutions is inviting applications for a Project Manager 3 based in Atlanta, Georgia. The position is onsite and is part of the Department of Labor’s initiative to modernize legacy business applications by replacing them with commercial off‑the‑scalable (COTS) or internally developed solutions. Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate project activities as part of the Project Management Office Plan, develop and maintain schedules, and track resources Manage risk, communications, and reporting in alignment with PMI best practices and the Georgia Department of Labor Project Management Methodology Lead quality and vendor management activities Oversee full lifecycle of technology projects, from initiation through deployment and warranty Required Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – active status (must upload evidence) Experience managing large, complex programs/projects using Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies Demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership of at least two full‑lifecycle agile software development projects with teams of ≥10 members Strong communication skills – oral, written, listening; strong analytical, negotiation, and detail orientation Leadership, interpersonal, and motivation skills Proficiency with standard PM tools: MS Project Professional, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite Active CSM (Scrum Alliance) and/or PMI‑ACP certifications (must upload evidence) Business analysis, integration planning, vendor management experience in enterprise‑wide IT projects Bachelor’s degree in a related field Applicants must note that applications on a C2C basis will not be considered for this role.
