Strategic Sourcing Category Senior Associate, Software/SaaS at KPMG US. This role focuses on IT Contract Renewals, strategic sourcing, and category management within the Software/SaaS space as part of the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement organization. Responsibilities

Provide sourcing category expertise in IT Contract Renewals and develop category strategies based on spend data, supply market dynamics, category intelligence, and business requirements; develop and implement strategies for tracking technology-related maintenance and support renewals throughout contract lifecycles to increase cost effectiveness, improve quality, reduce operational risk, and maximize realized savings Perform due diligence, including obtaining supplier quotes proactively, providing renewal notifications, and confirming requirements with respective business owners; identify areas for cost reduction, negotiate best price, and process renewals in accordance with contract terms and firm compliance Conduct complex data analysis and build financial models (ROI, NPV, supplier scorecards, savings tracking, make-versus-buy decisions); execute strategic sourcing projects using standard practices to deliver total value with key stakeholders across the Firm Implement strategies to manage the IT Contract Renewals supplier base, review suppliers against contracted obligations and service levels, assess risk, and develop negotiation strategies to maximize value and minimize risks Collaborate with the business to influence decisions, educate and enforce procurement policies, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement and innovation; address performance issues with stakeholders and suppliers to reach efficient resolutions Work with legal and other areas to ensure proper representation and enforcement of critical terms and conditions Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility in upholding KPMG’s respectful work environment Qualifications

Minimum three years of related experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, outsourcing, and project management; combination of management consulting and line experience is desirable Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Good working knowledge of ServiceNow; familiarity with common contractual issues to mitigate risk and negotiate IT renewals; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; understanding of contract terms and techniques for driving value and managing risks; ability to build strong relationships with business partners Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing skills to navigate a complex organization and ambiguity; ability to lead, support, and conduct successful negotiations with suppliers and project teams Solid organizational, time management, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects, RFXs, and contract negotiations; strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and stakeholder facilitation skills Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; no visa sponsorship available for this opportunity KPMG LLP and its affiliates comply with local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
