Overview

Delivery Consultant - Security role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business objectives. You will work closely with customers to drive their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies and lead the implementation process while adhering to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks. Responsibilities

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field 3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc. 3+ years of experience in application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing 1+ years automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automated security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code 1+ years in advanced incident response to lead response efforts including detection, analysis, and eradication processes Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing and building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, and Kubernetes Experience in automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell) Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby) Experience with compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDoS, SIEM) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $131,300/year up to $177,600/year. The National base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will remain posted until filled.
