WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Estimator - JOC to join our Mount Vernon, NY office location. Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Job Summary

The (APM) supports the successful execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. Working under the direction of the Project Manager or MEP Manager, the APM helps coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, track budgets, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. This role is essential in bridging communication between design, field, and office teams. Job Description

Assist in the review and coordination of MEP drawings and specifications. Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes. Support MEP coordination with BIM/VDC teams and consultants. Help manage MEP subcontractor procurement, scope review, and buyout process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Assist in developing and updating MEP construction schedules in coordination with the overall project schedule. Monitor progress against schedule milestones and report deviations. Support budget tracking, change order management, and cost forecasting for MEP scopes. Review subcontractor payment applications and invoice backup. Conduct regular site walks to observe MEP installation progress. Help ensure MEP work complies with design documents, code requirements, and safety protocols. Assist in commissioning, inspections, and system startup coordination. Attend and document MEP coordination meetings. Facilitate communication between field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and design teams. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. Four (4)+ years of experience in construction, ideally with MEP systems or subcontractor coordination. Experience working with general contractors or MEP subcontractors is a plus. Familiarity with MEP systems and construction processes. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera P6). Basic knowledge of BIM (Navisworks/Revit) is a plus. Must be able to navigate active construction sites safely. May require occasional evening or weekend hours depending on project deadlines. Competitive salary based on experience.
