Overview
This role will be hybrid based out of our Franklin, TN office. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead enterprise-wide purchasing and inventory strategies for one of the largest Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) in the country. This role is responsible for driving cost savings, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across a diverse network of specialty dental practices. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in procurement operations, vendor management, and e-procurement systems, with a proven ability to deliver measurable business results. About Us:

Responsibilities
Lead and manage enterprise procurement and inventory strategies to support clinical operations and drive year-over-year cost savings. Oversee daily procurement operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing of clinical supplies, office needs, and capital equipment. Share responsibility of management and optimization of the e-procurement system including enhancements, changes, and organizational adoption. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, securing competitive agreements aligned with organizational goals. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting quarterly business reviews to ensure pricing, service, and contract compliance. Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, legal, finance, IT, and accounts payable teams to align procurement strategies with business needs. Monitor market trends, economic shifts, and supply chain risks to guide purchasing decisions and ensure business continuity. Lead training and compliance initiatives, promoting procurement best practices with adoption rates exceeding 90%. Build and maintain relationships with individual practices and staff and support their procurement activities, including supply ordering, catalog management and capital equipment Consistently achieve KPI targets related to supply spend, vendor compliance, and procurement system utilization. Analyze pricing, spend data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings or catalog efficiencies and assist in the implementation of resulting initiatives Implement and manage vendor scorecards to ensure compliance. Conducting RFP and RFQ projects and potentially manage vendor consolidation initiatives. Other procurement related projects and initiatives as may be assigned by the Procurement Director, from time to time
Qualifications
Requirements: 5+ years of progressive procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing experience 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost-savings initiatives. 3+ years of experience with e-procurement systems including platform administration or transition leadership. (Coupa or similar) Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, or related field. Experience in healthcare, dental, or multi-site operations Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market trends and mitigate supply chain risks. Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to model and analyze financial data, including pricing and spend information and KPIs, to monitor and assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions. Demonstrated leadership in training, change management, and process adoption initiatives.
